Pen and ink streets

I chanced upon this artist's sketches of Japan and his art made me both happy and depressed (the latter because I know I can't sketch and paint like him!)

What I love about his work are the clean lines and details, which I tried to emulate in these two drawings by using a thinner liner. Also shamelessly copied the way he coloured his cobblestones 😆 I do love the effect ☺️
